Last weekend Carolina Ballet performed a modern take on Carmina Burana with the North Carolina Master Chorale, all 140 of them singing in the front few rows. Powerful music especially live ( Listen to it here ) and a timely version of the ballet, my favorite from Carolina Ballet so far. I find myself listening to Carmina in my studio working. Seems to help me stay focused.
