Solo show
pigment transfer monoprints on archival photo paper

Memories are imprecise and fade over time. Important moments in life are not permanent, despite your desire to keep them; they dissolve, half deformed with ink slipping through your fingers.

Milkshake (above), 176x176in, 2015, consists of 16 – 44x44in pieces installed on the wall together, with one missing due to space limitations. Each piece has 25 individual 8x8in transfers adding up to 400 for the comlete work. This Installation greeted viewers around a tight corner as they walk in to the show. Giving them a close up view of the work and details. The larger whole image isnt revealed until the viewer turns back to the beginning, back to where they already were.

Memories was my first significant body of work. With subjects from my archive of photos taken for myself. Which included loved ones, fun days, though days, and self revelatory days — all things that felt differently then and feel differently now, as they become less permanent.
